        Makes appropriations and reappropriations for the ordinary and         
   contingent expenses of the Department of Transportation for the fiscal      
   year beginning July 1, 2002.                                                
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Increases the amount appropriated to IDOT for grants to the            
   Regional Transportation Authority for reimbursements to Service             
   Boards for reduced mass transportation fares for students, handi-           
   capped persons, and the elderly.
